Your first receipt

Choose a template that looks close to what you need, then select Use template. Open Business details to replace the sample name and address. In Items, add your descriptions, quantities and prices. The preview updates as you work.

Set your currency and the applicable tax rate, add a discount or fixed tip if needed, then choose the payment method. Check the preview before downloading.

A receipt with your character

Use Appearance to change the design, paper size, font, spacing and separators. Change templates without retyping your information. Use the section controls to add notes, extra information or a barcode.

Upload a PNG, JPEG or WebP logo from your device. It stays in the browser. Optional sections can be moved with their arrow controls or dragged into place. Select a section on the preview to jump to its controls.

Undo and Redo let you explore confidently. Reset restores the selected template’s example and asks before replacing your work.

Clear numbers, from start to finish

We multiply each quantity by its unit price and round each line to the nearest cent. Those lines form the subtotal. A fixed or percentage discount comes next, then tax on that discounted amount, then your fixed tip.

Cash received of $10.00 gives $4.04 change in this example. If the payment is short, the receipt shows a balance due. Enter the tax rate appropriate to your transaction; ReceiptLab does not choose it for you.

Keep the version you need

Free downloads include a ReceiptLab watermark. Clean exports are planned as a paid option; checkout is not available yet.

PNG gives you a clear image. PDF is suited to printing and contains selectable text. Choose the paper size before exporting. For 58 mm or 80 mm printing, match the printer’s paper setting and print at actual size; specific printer compatibility has not been tested.

Save draft downloads an editable file containing your details and logo. Use Open draft to continue later. The file is private information, just like your finished receipt.

ReceiptLab does not save drafts automatically. Save or download before leaving; a browser crash cannot be recovered. The PDF is not fully tagged for assistive technology; an accessible receipt summary is available in the editor.
