A restaurant receipt with an itemized meal and tip
Use the dining layout for a completed meal transaction. Keep food and drinks on separate lines, edit the table details, and show a fixed tip separately from the meal and tax.
Set the meal details
Replace the restaurant heading and address, enter the transaction date and receipt reference, and update the table and guest information in the two-column information section.
List food and drinks
Enter each menu item with its quantity and unit price. Combine identical items with quantity, or use separate descriptions when meals differ. Review the line amounts before adding adjustments.
Enter the final tip and payment
In Discount, tax & tip, enter Tip amount as an amount of money. For a $10.00 tip, enter 10.00. Record Card or Cash, review the final total, then download the receipt.
The example, checked line by line
The fictional meal totals $68.00 before adjustments. Illustrative tax of $5.61 and a fixed $10.00 tip bring the total to $83.61. The sample is a completed card payment record; no payment is processed.

What to check before you use it
Tip is a fixed amount, not a percentage selector, and is added after tax in this calculation engine. The editor does not split a bill, settle card payments, or update a payment terminal. Confirm that the single tax rate and calculation order fit the transaction you are recording.
Can I use 58 mm or 80 mm paper?
Both document widths are available in Appearance, along with A4. Long menu descriptions may wrap more on 58 mm. Check your exported file and your printer’s supported paper settings; physical printer compatibility has not been tested.
